Many organizations utilize professional management processes including annual and long-range planning.  Yet countless studies have been conducted and books written to analyze and chronicle why most businesses fail to reach their stated objectives – and even fewer lack the capacity to adapt to changing business conditions.  Although planning and execution rigor can help teams to achieve short-term objectives, an adaptive mindset is required if the organization is to thrive, let alone survive, through several cycles over the longer term.  Our approach cultivates the adaptive mindset while integrating Hoshin planning for an Adaptive Long-range Planning process.
